i pick up on something more substantial
flowers
squeeze colours | variegations still exist
a grapevine
hangs from a wall outside my study
i consider the reversal procedures
of travelling past memorials & old
tribal tracks
*
watchful eyes
click at birds in ruffled capes | children
unravel the yellow patches of autumn | the sea
plunges more roughly
*
i define my fantasy of an oasis -
a floral
greenhouse
binging on fragrances
i pick up on something more substantial | an archaeological dig
a global offspring i call my own
examines the unearthed life of an early settlement
i deftly unstitch the morning’s fog
i rake through deposits of clandestine human fables
the grainy texture of the surf
flops forwards | breaking up the sand
an oil slick
creeps towards another high tide’s creased greeting
& a bone flute holds its breath
